MOONTIDE

Healing is not about becoming someone new. It is about reconnecting with who has been there all along.

Support
A few places we might begin.
You do not need to know exactly what kind of therapy you need.
Sometimes the first step is simply naming what feels heavy, stuck, or ready to change.
Below are the services we offer.

Complex Trauma & EMDR
Support for nervous systems shaped by chronic stress, relational trauma, neglect, invalidation, or survival-based coping.

Identity & Self-Worth
Therapy for people exploring authenticity, shame, masking, self-image, belonging, and the impact of being misunderstood.

Neurodivergence & Burnout
Care that honors sensory needs, overwhelm, executive functioning struggles, masking fatigue, and nervous system exhaustion.

Grief, Anxiety & Life Transitions
Support through change, loss, uncertainty, relationship shifts, and the emotional weight of trying to hold everything together.
COMPLEX TRAUMA
What does complex trauma sometimes look like?
Complex trauma (also known as Complex PTSD or C-PTSD) can happen after long-term stress, trauma, emotional neglect, unstable relationships, or growing up in environments where you did not feel safe, supported, or understood.
Not everyone experiences it the same way, but some people notice patterns like these:
Feeling constantly on edge, overwhelmed, or emotionally exhausted
Having a hard time trusting people or feeling safe in relationships
Feeling disconnected from your body, emotions or sense of self
Struggling to relax, rest, or believe you are truly safe
Feeling deep shame, self-criticism, or like something is 'wrong' with you
Big emotional reactions that feel hard to control or understand
Feeling numb, shut down, or disconnected after stress or conflict
Getting stuck in people-pleasing, over-working, or taking care of everyone else first
WHAT IS EMDR?
Helping the brain and body process what feels stuck.
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is a type of therapy that helps the brain process painful memories, experiences, and beliefs that still feel emotionally "stuck."
During EMDR, people often notice memories becoming less overwhelming, less emotionally intense, and easier to think about without feeling pulled back into the same level of distress.
EMDR can help with trauma, anxiety, shame, panic, self-worth struggles, attachment wounds, and other experiences connected to the nervous system.

WHY MOONTIDE
